I love to make t-shirts and have decided to give a couple of my ideas a try. I have attempted quite a few times to go the regular route of screen printing. What I mean is, UV sensitive goop that you put on a screen that has a transparency taped to it that will magically appear on your screen after you let it sit in the sun for a particular amount of time. It was a nightmare for me and I never liked the results. Funny considering I love the dark room. But, that’s beside the point.

What I have enjoyed is using ModgePodge to make my own glue-painted screens, if you will. I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to craftgrrl for her awesome tutorial. It is a great deal more fun for me and saves money too!

What I am also having a great time doing is finding tremendous deals on gently used clothing to use as my t-shirts. It is cheaper and more challenging for me. Sometimes the material sparks a new design.

So, here are my two new screenprinted t-shirts.

First off, for my wonderful husband…(he got his very own)

Second, for me (:

Of course, these two lovelys are for sale in my online shop.
