Pick a Number. Pick a Color.
Katrina Henry and Lauren Sharpton created an interactive community art project for ArtCity Eugene’s Studio Without Walls event. Passersby were invited to tell both artists what color to use and where to use it on the canvas. By the end of the evening, over 30 participants guided the process to create a painting about Oregon by Oregonians.
Step by Step Guide (used during the art event):
Grab a piece of paper and a pencil.
Look at the guide and choose a number. Cross it off on the guide.
Write the number and how you want us to paint it on the paper.
Write your email address (clearly please!) on the other side if you want updates from us.
Place the paper on the table.
